George Abbott was born about 1811 in New Haven County, Connecticut. He married Lovisa Merrick. In 1850 he was living in New Haven, New Haven, Connecticut with his wife, sister-in-law, and 3 children.[1]

In 1855 he was living in Camden, Oneida, New York with Lovisa, 5 of their children, one boarder, and one servant.[2]

Records from 1865 show him living with Lovisa, her mother, and six children in District 1, Camden, Oneida, New York.[3]

In 1870, he was living in Camden, Oneida, New York with Lovisa and 5 children.[4]

He was living with Lovisa and two of their daughters in 1880. The family home was in Camden, Oneida, New York.[5]

George passed away 11 Oct 1890 in Camden, Oneida, New York. He was buried in Forest Park Cemetery, Camden, Oneida, New York.[6]
