Sarah was a Friend (Quaker)

Sarah married "away from Friends". Several individuals with the surname MEYER(S) later applied for membership of the Society of Friends, and are believed to be her children.

Research Notes

Family tree chart held by Gina MEYERS, and prepared c.1985 by Pam EVANS based on research in Irish Quaker records, identifies Sarah as d/o John ABBOTT and his second wife, Mary PHILLIPS. This is consistent with the note in the Quaker Family Lists which notes that Sarah, the daughter of John and Mary, married out from Friends.
