Fenris is the second child of Tom Aarons-131 and Jen Pierce-13345. (Tyler being the first) Fen grew up in Oregon. He enjoys cats, the color blue, and collecting random toys/knicknacks you can fiddle with.
I'm still currently learning how to use this site. I'm hoping to start the One Name Study for the Aarons family tree. I want to get better at citing sources/formatting profiles before I go to deep though. I know the sources are there, but finding the correct way to link them/digging to the actual original link to the source can be challenging. I won't be using any paid services for sourcing though.
A lot of the information I'm going off of was first recorded by my mom. I also found a website that has some more info on my dads side, and that has helped me tremendously. Here's a link to that site.
If I have added you/someone you are related to, please reach out to me! Even if you don't want to responsibility of being the page manager, I'd love to add any information you have to profiles.
Featured Asian and Pacific Islander connections: Fen is 28 degrees from 今上 天皇, 22 degrees from Adrienne Clarkson, 27 degrees from Dwight Heine, 27 degrees from Dwayne Johnson, 24 degrees from Tupua Tamasese Lealofioaana, 23 degrees from Stacey Milbern, 25 degrees from Sono Osato, 33 degrees from 乾隆 愛新覺羅, 23 degrees from Ravi Shankar, 28 degrees from Taika Waititi, 28 degrees from Penny Wong and 17 degrees from Chang Bunker on our single family tree. The GEDCOM will not automatically populate your tree, it generates a GEDCOMpare report which you work through either accepting or rejecting suggested matches. Once you have done this the data from your file will be filled in on the add profile screen so that you can review and make adjustments before saving.
One of our mentors created a tutorial for the GEDCOMpare process that I found very helpful. I hope that you will too.

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working with members of the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.
Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus. Review the project pages for special guidelines and to learn how to collaborate with the project members.
Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.
Remember to cite reliable sources in pre-1700 profiles you manage, or edit. (See:https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Pre-1700_Profiles#Cite_reliable_sources).

P.S. To find reliable sources for your profiles, go to the Family Tree & Tools tab; select Genealogy Research and scroll down near the bottom of that list and select Research with RootsSearch. There are over 20 websites to access from there.
Check out the New Member How-to pages for some quick tips on working with both the Wiki pages and our other members. There is some great information in those pages.
