Gerrit Jan Aaftink is geboren in Overijssel na 1811
Gerrit was born in Lemele, Ommen, on 25 April 1816. He was the son of Albert Aaftink (oud 38 ajren, landbouwer) and Everdje Arends.[1], [2]
