Malwyn, son of William A'Beckett & Emily, was baptised on 24 October 1834 in St. Paul, Hammersmith, Middlesex, England.[1]
He was the son of William a'Beckett and Emily Hayley.
He migrated to Australia on the City of Edinburgh in January at the age of two, with his parents, siblings and some extended family.
Malwyn a'Beckett played representative cricket for the Victorian Colony in the 1850s.[2]
He married Affra Ann Robinson in 1865, and she was the mother of Malwyn Haley a'Beckett, born in 1872 at Prahran in the Victorian Colony. [3]
Malwyn a'Beckett passed away in June 1906 at Sale in Victoria, Australia at the age of 71. He is listed as the son of Sir William a'Beckett C.J., late chief examiner of titles.
