Lieutenant Digby Macarthur Dent (1913-1943) was the son of Admiral Douglas Lionel Dent, C.B., C.M.G., & his wife Olive Kate née MacArthur
He married Barbara Henty in 1937. Lieutenant Digby Macarthur Dent was K.I.A. September 10, 1943 on board H.M.S. Abdiel at Taranto harbour, Italy.
