My grandfather left home as Max Pellack born in Gronlid, Saskatchewan. About 10 years later he met my grandmother as Clyde Robertson born in San Francisco. Ancestry DNA confirmed he really was Maxim Pellack. Trying to find the missing 10 years. His parents immigrated from Austria (Ukraine, Austrian empire) in 1909 with their three oldest children. My grandfather was their first born in Canada. I can't find any record prior to their arrival in Canada.
