My paternal line is the Koehnline family, which is traceable in America back to one Johann Michael Köhnlein, who came to America in 1839, and settled in wheeling, West Virginia. His ancestors were from Steinkirchen, Braunsbach, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, and his descendants lived mostly in West Virginia and Ohio. I have traced his ancestry back a few more generations, but I cannot assure the accuracy of that research. I am very interested in finding others who are connected to this family. [edit]
