I am not sure how to proceed. Santina Mazzoni and her "husband" are presenting several problems for me. I have much of this documented and sourced at familyntree, but unsure as to how to proceed on wiki tree. I am hoping DNA may make some of this picture clearer eventually.
A summary of what I do know:
- Allesandro Cavellini was married in Italy to Marianna Ricci. Their marriage records had a notation stating that their union legitimized the birth of their son. They then have one other son.
- After this marriage Allesandro is found in the US 1910 census with "Sarah" listed as the wife with two new children. Wasn't sure this was the same people at first.
- Found PA birth indice showing Santina Mazzoni and Allexandro Cavallini as the parents of one of the boys from the 1910 census.
- 1920 US Census, same location - Allesandro is shown with his wife (Marianna) and a few more children with Santina Mazzoni listed as a servant. Delphin/Dolphin/Adolpho is listed on the 1920 census and was born in 1910/1911, but I am unable to find him in the birth indices for PA to prove or disprove which woman is the mother. (Indices end after 1911)
-Allesandro Cavallini dies later in 1920.
- 1920 immigration papers for Marianna Cavallini show her listed as a widow
- 1930 census shows Santina Cavallini as a widow with the youngest children
