Looking for the names of my grandmother's parents. Grandmother was Jeseka Aletha (Jessica Aletta) Le Roux

Jeseka was born in South Africa 1903 or 1907, died 1977.Her mother died when she was young, so she was raised by her stepmother.  I believe her mother was English.  I really do not  have much to go on.  My Grandfather was Edwin James Henry Hunkin. Jeseka (Jessica) was his 2nd wife.  I believe they started out together in Cape Town/Kimberley, and then moved to Malvern, Johannesburg. Thank you.

Birth date was 8 July 1903.

Her father was Hendrik Johannes Le Roux and her mother was Helena Magdelena Oostehuizen.

Hendrik's parents were Casper Hendrik Johannes Le Roux and mother was Aletta Hermiena Catherina. I have a feeling Your grandmother was named after her grandmother.

You are correct regarding the death of your great grandmother. She died in 1909. Hendrik then married Gertruida Suzanna Wesselina Vyver and lived in Johannesburg (this was my granny). They had four sons.

Hi I am Rob Le Roux. I have a feeling that your grandmother was my aunt and the half sister of my father. I have a full geneology report for our family from the beginning of the French hugenots.
