Do you share family members or family history with John?
You could post a note on his profile asking if he is interested in being profile manager for the profiles you would like to 'give' away.
If he is interested, there are at least 2 ways to do so.
If he requests to be on the trusted list for each profile, then you say Yes, then remove yourself as profile manager which would mean only John was the profile manager for each of the profiles you wish to give away.
Or, this would be simpler you could 'orphan' that is remove yourself as profile manager by clicking on the key in a circle at the top right of each profile.
Then you will see this: Trusted List for Profile, under that it says;
Your name, then Status and remove as manager click that to remove yourself.
Under that it says Remove selected people or Remove yourself, this will also remove you from the person from your watchlist.
There is also a way of removing yourself from multiple profiles at the same time under Bulk Watchlist, Trusted list changes, it is also on that page. I have never used it so I am not sure what the procedure is.
If John is not interested you can still remove yourself as Profile Manager and from the Trusted list.
The profiles will then be orphaned; that is the profiles have no manager, not that the people profiled have suddenly become orphans-people with no parents.
