Should John Nott be included in PGM project?

Please see John Nott-152 and his wife Ann Bellows-95. Are these the same as page 243 in The Great Migration Directory?

Should these profiles be included in the PGM project?

I'm a tad late on responding. I checked my copy of Anderson's GMD 1620-1640. Here is what is listed:

Nott, John: Unknown; 1637; Wethersfield [MBCR 1:218, 235; CCCR 1:55; WP 3:320; WetLR 1:165; SmTR 4; Manwaring 1:342-43; Wethersfield Hist 2:521-523; Hale, House 20-21].

Given the above information from Anderson, should this John Nott be 'stickered' as PGM? Should I start a new G2G with this question? Should I go ahead and PGM sticker him with the above Anderson citation?

To date, I have found nothing about his wife.

If you would like to, go ahead and put the PGM project box on the profile of John Nott-153.  It will trigger a response from one of the PGM leaders.

I don’t think a new g2g is needed, Carol.

Thanks
Cheryl, I just noticed (see my other comment above) that this John Nott-152 was married to his listed wife in 1640 in ENGLAND. Does this suggest that they might have come to Wethersfield, then returned to England, then came back to Wethersfield?

I do believe this is the man who is Anderson's John Nott, but his marriage in 1640 in England doesn't make sense unless he is PGM and Beyond...
Carol, I checked Abandoning America and he is not listed there, so probably not PGM Beyond.

Tomorrow I will try to make the time to review all the sources in GMD regarding John Nott.  It is probable that he will need to be detached from wife... but we'll see where the sources lead.
Thanks Cheryl...I am cleaning up a real mess on Dodd, etc in the 1600s at Marblehead. I hate this GEDcom Junk! And no sources!

Let me know if I can help with Nott.

OH OH... signing off. Thuderstorms with serious lightening.
Carol, I updated Nott-152 with the sources found in GMD.  Left a comment about my intentions for the manager of the profile.
Hi Cheryl, thank you for the Best Answer star. Very much appreciated.

I have not looked at nearly all of the sources cited for John Nott in GMD, but from the History of Wethersfield at https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=coo.31924096458595&view=2up&seq=601 (Vol. 2) and https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=coo.31924096458587&view=page&seq=335 (Vol. 1) I think it is apparent that the John Nott in GMD is the same as the one profiled here as Nott-152.

He was recorded in Wethersfield before 1640 (GMD has a date of 1637 for his first record in New England), so the claim that he married Ann Bellows in England in 1640 is dubious. I did not run across evidence for Ann's maiden name. From the birth dates of the children, it is likely that they married in New England after 1640. Therefore (regardless of her LNAB -- I see no good reason to think it was Bellows) she may not have arrived before 1640, and thus cannot be assumed to be a PGM.

Thank you, Ellen.  I agree that the marriage in England is dubious; so wife should not be added to PGM without furher research and discovery.

If PGM Leader agrees, please add John Nott-153 to the project.  Thank you.
I just noticed that Nott-152 was married in England in 1640. If this is the case, he would not have been in Wethersfield in 1637.

Is there another John Nott who is PGM that fits Anderson's citation? If so, which profile would that be?

If John Nott-152 is the PGM, then would/should he be disconnected from his wife and children?

The profile says he was married in England in 1640 to a woman named Anne Bellows, but it appears to me that the marriage data and the last name of the wife are bad information that should be expunged.
