Yes. The second profile shouldn't have been created. It will need to be merged. Do us a favour, if you could please edit the Tag on your question, and add Sweden.

Was just looking, and Graham, who created the second profile, is 8 steps connected to Nobel. His 2nd cousin appears to have married the Nobel family. I have initiated a merge. Sweden Project will need to determine how they wish to handle the merge.
I suspect some of the relatives may need to be checked for merging as well.
Merges have been proposed for parents, brother and sister-in-law by Per
Sorry I'm new to WikiTree and not sure how to add Sweden
That's alright Larraine. If you click on EDIT for this question, it should bring up the question again. One of the fields is TAGS, and will currently have NOBEL in the space provided. You can add up to 6 tags, I believe. So if you start to type in Sweden, it should provide suggestions for existing tags, and you should be able to select Sweden. It will add it to the tagged items, and you can then save the question.
I think I've done it correctly
Yes. Very good. In the EDIT, there is another box there, for putting in the relevant person, so people can link to them immediately, instead of going through the process of looking them up. You can only put one person in. Feel free to try putting Nobel-74. It isn't necessarily necessary now that people are addressing the issue. But it might be worth trying, so you are more familiar with G2G for future questions.
Thank you Linda, by the way. I should have thanked you earlier.
Has anyone been communicating with the creator of these new duplicates so we know he's realized that was a mistake? Just in case so that not more of these are on their way.
I think I caught the related duplicates and proposed merges for them as well. I suspect we will have to wait for the timing-out for most of these merges now.
When I saw this post, I checked and I think you found them all. I posted above that you had gotten them all.  No one said the pm had been contacted, but when he sees a surge of emails for the merges he will realize it quickly
Hm, too late now, but maybe it was unwise of me to immediately ask for merging all the rest of them. Such a surge of emails is maybe overwhelming and disheartening rather than helping.
I am an Arborist, which is why I looked at it and checked all the generations. The problem, I find, is that if I don't get back to check on the others. Also, the oldest ancestors should be done first or you will be left with some profiles that won't really show the duplicate that was attached to it, which is part of your proof that it is a duplicate.  I sent a private message to have him check on them, as well as to check in the future before creating profiles, same thing as I say to others.
