Is the Relationship Finder flawed?

I used Relationship Finder to find a relationship between my nephew, Gray-8340 and Schweinfurt-3 (30 generations) with the result showing that "Eilika is the 28th great grandmother of John", and a similar response results for my children or my siblings' children, however, if I insert my siblings (Gray-8336 - 9), it shows that there's no relationship.

As the first connection in the line is my siblings (or myself), I'd reasonably assume that Schweinfurt-3 would naturally be our 27th great grandmother.

Am I wrong and, if so, why?

2 Things that I can think of

1 is that there is possibly a broken link in the line between you and the ancestor in question -

and 2 - I'm not sure if the relationship finder can handle all 30 generations. I think there is a button the relationship finder that says - 30 generations - that you have to click to get all the correct details. Try that and see how it works.

A 3rd possibly is that your link to the ancestor in questions is actually more than 30 generations and the finder always shows the SHORTEST line.

There may also be a box (somewhere down at bottom left I think) that may show other lines and you will have to look at - that shows a drop down menu of all the other connections you may have. You can use this to find the right ancestor and see if that line of descent is shown.

Neither assumption is correct because in the case of your 1 I or my siblings are next in line followed by our mother

Also, Relationship Finder will search up to 30 generations and display the shortest found bloodline.

If you open Relationship Finder and enter Schweinfurt-3 in the first box and Gray-11469 in the second and click on Search 30 Generations, you'll see that I'm listed immediately below my son, Matthew, in the lineage.
