Prudence Winfrey was born on 12 Jan 1794 in Bedford, Virginia to Israel Samuel Winfrey and Frances (Franky) Fanny Halley. She married John Wiley Ross Jr. on 24 Oct 1811 in Cumberland, Kentucky. Children: Frances (Fannie), Israel, Martin Cornelius, Docia (Dotha), William, Henry Walter, Elizabeth, Mary, Francis H, Parthenia Jane, John J, Martha Catherine. She died on 24 Apr 1854 in Lafayette, Arkansas.
