The genealogical journey has helped put U.S. history in context since he has had family in this country since the 1630s as well as having immigrant ancestors from Germany and Holland who arrived in the U.S. in the 1840s and 1850s.

My name is Mark McGuffin and I am very interested in anything you may know about the McGuffin line. John is my second great grandfather and also werethe McGuffin tree ends. I know that John was approximately 9 years old his mother was going to trash him so the story goes...and he ran out of the house a stowed away on a ship for the Americas that that just happened to be leaving. He was born in Armagh, Ireland. I am mainly on ancestry and have taken a dan test. Have you taken dan test? Mark
I was just doing some Categorization Project work and came across your Cincinnati research assistance category but I am unable to edit your profile. Are you able to change the format at all? You can either add it to or we could create a new category let me know and I'll get it fixed up. :)
