Is there a reliable source for the name suffix "I" that shows he was referred to by this suffix during his life? If not, it should be removed.

I've removed Albiano (Wetherly) Weathersbee (abt. 1600) as Barth's wife. Please see Research Notes on Albiano's profile. Thanks all for your help.
Another clue to Albiano being a possible man is the the spelling ending with a "o". Typically in those days a males name would end with a "O" and a female in a "A" to dictate masculine or feminine variations of a name. This may not be the case here, but may be a point to look at. Where is the surname Godby coming from and doespecially anyone have a source for the Boddie book? I can't see it online.

Another plausable answer: In another part of Hotten. It states "On page 256, " ? Wethersbie Burried at Elizabeth Cittie 1624." Now this may have been Dorothie. Then it may be plausible that sometime after Albiano showed up as head of household in 1626 that she married Bartholemew. This family has been nothing but confusing mystery.

The ship records for providence and london merchant suggest that Dorothie and Bartholomew were married prior or in 1616 before he came to Virginia. I have heard of Albiano, but it is unclear if this is a man or a woman because she would only be listed if head of household not if she were a spouse of Bartholomew who was living at the time. Quoted from the book "The Weathersbee Family of Halifax and Martin Counties, North Carolina and Barnwell County, South Carolina" (On page 185, Hotten list s "Those living in Virginia Feb. 16, 1626, at Elizabeth Cittie, " and among them were: Bartholomew Wethersby, Albion Wethersby, if "Albion " was a woman, she would only have been listed if she were head of a household.) This would explain why Dorothie isn't listed and just Bartholemew is.

Weatherbee-125 and Weathersbee-7 appear to represent the same person because: same person.. both wives are documented in Boddie https://www.ancestry.com/interactive/48287/SouthernFamiliesXVII-007025-104

Ok, I found the Boddie reference -- Historical Southern Families. Volume XVII shows Bartholomew administered Thomas Godby's estate.

Is there any specific and creditable evidence available for Dorythie Boulton as wife and/or Albiano Godby as wives of Bartholomew Weather(s)bee? I'm going to ask the same on his unmerged match profile. If we can't demonstrate how we know who his wife (wives) was (were), we should probably detach her (them), rather than having two copies of the same family...

Wethersbie-1 and Weatherbee-125 appear to represent the same person because: There appear to be the same people. From most of my records it appears that the correct name is Weatherbee, but may have been Weatherby before coming to the US.

I think this is the same person as Weathersby-21. The birth date is not exactly the same, but the wife's name is.
