1790 Marriage: Susannah Watson married Joseph Watson on March 13, 1790, in Leicester, Worcester County, Masssachusetts. Her father's DAR and Find A Grave lists her husband as Joseph Watson (1767-1829) .[1]
1850 Census: Susannah Watson, age 80, lived in Bennington, Bennington, Vermont, with her daughter, Nancy, 56, and James Newell, 33, a teacher. Susannah and Nancy were born in Massachusetts; James in Vermont. Susannah had been a widow for 21 years. [2]
1860 Census: Susannah Watson, age 90, lived in Bennington, Bennington, Vermont, in the home of Louisa Doolittle, 35. Also in the home were JOhn Pity, 22; Nancy Watson, 67; and Sarah B. Watson, 32. Nancy had real estate valued at $1000. Susannah and Nancy were born in Massachusetts. Louisa was born in Vermont, John in Canada, and Sarah in Maine. [3]
1862 Death. Susannan Watson died, age 92 years, 10 months, on September 14, 1862, in Bennington County, Vermont, and was buried in Grandview Cemetery, Shaftsbury, Bennington County, Vermont. Inscription: In Memory of SUSANNAH Wife of JOSEPH WATSON. Who died Sept. 14, 1862. aged 92 y's & 10 m's. Find A Grave: Memorial #38493996[4]
