Biography

Hezekiah Walker was born in February 23, 1750, in Sudbury, Middlesex, Massachusetts.[1]

He married Lucy Raymond on May 16, 1775, in Holden, Worcester, Massachusetts.[2]

(V) Hezekiah Walker, born February 24, 1718, married Hannah Putnam, in Sudbury, April 4, 1738, and had one child born in Sudbury, January 15, 1742-43. He purchased forty-one acres and forty rods of land in Shrewsbury of Daniel How, and removed to that place. His first wife died, and he married in Shrewsbury, Sarah Prescott, of Lancaster, September 29 [actually 4], 1747. He bought and sold various pieces of land in Worcester county, in the towns of Holden and Lancaster. The home of the family was chiefly in Shrewsbury. Children were,

  • Ruben, born February 11, 1739, in Sudbury;
  • Rachel, July 8, 1748;
  • Hezekiah, February 14, 1750, baptized in Lancaster May 5, 1751;
  • Sarah, baptized there May 29, 1754.
