Parents William & Josephine Beck. In December 1936, Russell married Marguerite Wade. He took an active interest in baseball, hockey & curling. In 1966 they moved from the farm into Lang. He was president of the local coop for 25 years; also the rink board & Community Club and Elder of the United Church.

In December 1936, she married Russell Beck; they had 8 children: Jean Louise; William Roy; Gary Russell; Marilyn Marguerite; Carol Lorraine; Arlene Marie; Raymond Wayne & Donna Joy.
After moving from the farm to Lang she again taught school after an absence of 20 years.
She was organist of the United Church as well as Sec-Treas for 16 years.
In December 1936, she married Russell Beck; they had 8 children: Jean Louise; William Roy; Gary Russell; Marilyn Marguerite; Carol Lorraine; Arlene Marie; Raymond Wayne & Donna Joy.
After moving from the farm to Lang she again taught school after an absence of 20 years.
