In 1860, at the age of 45, James Wade was living in Cumberland, Adams, Pennsylvania in the poor house.[1]
In 1870, at the age of 60, James Wade was living in Cumberland, Adams, Pennsylvania. Pauper At Almshouse. He had a disability and Denied Voting Rights.[2]
He died on July 10,1872. Was buried in Evergreen Cemetery located in Gettysburg, Adams County, Pennsylvania; Plot: Section A, Lot 79:
