Hiram Wade was born on 1830. When he was 21, he married Cynthia Caroline Steward, daughter of Elijah Steward and Anna Alford, on 04 May 1851 in DeKalb, Georgia.

When Hiram was about 21 he married Cynthia Caroline Steward on 4 May 1851 in DeKalb, Georgia. The couple had 6 children: Dicie Ann Wade, Ellen Wade, Mary A Wade, Louisa Wade, Frances Wade and Josaphine Wade.^[1]

Hiram Wade and Cynthia Caroline Steward had the following children:

1. Dicie Ann Wade was born in 1852 in Georgia, USA. She died on 26 Jan 1930 in Atlanta, Fulton, Georgia, United States. She married Francis M. Snead in 1878.
