Biography

Note: The family name of Elizabeth, who was probably born about 1630 and married about 1651 Peter Bent, has not yet been discovered. Peter was born in England and came to America with his father, John, in 1638, when 9 years of age. He made more than one trip to England afterwards and died there. Elizabeth was probably born in England. She survived her husband many years. Was living at Sudbury as late as 1704, and presumably, died there in old age.[1]

1679 Petition of Elizabeth Bent

Chris, I think the 1680 was a typo; the death dates match for the Elizabeth Unknown wife of Peter Bent. I've edited the profile and reset the merge proposal.

Bent-1089 and Unknown-147091 appear to represent the same person because: Bent-1089 was created as a (hopefully) unintentional duplicate of the wife of Peter Bent, using her married name, not her maiden name, which is unknown. Please approve this merge. Thanks.

Elizabeth Bent, born in 1680 should be detached from Peter Bent who died in 1678 and his children.

Bent-1089 and Unknown-147091 are not ready to be merged because: Very different birth dates. Also no reliable source information. Also no matching facts other than Elizabeth. Not much evidence of a profile match.
Bent-1089 and Unknown-147091 appear to represent the same person because: Recently created Elizabeth Bent-1089, should be merged INTO Unknown-147091. Same husband. No source for maiden name of Bent.
