Humphry Tonkin married Ann Woolcock on 16 August 1767 in St Agnes, Cornwall, England. [1]
He was buried on 5 Apr 1812 in Redruth, Cornwall. [2]
The date of birth 11 Apr 1744 in St Agnes, Cornwall is unsourced, and unusually specific for the time period. It would seem more likely to be a date of baptism, but there is no baptism for Humphry Tonkin in 1744 in the parish register for St Agnes, nor for any surrounding parishes. Also, his baptism does not appear in St Gluvias, as Jacob Tonkin's daughter Prudence was baptised there in 1750.
Both Humphry Tonkin and Ann Woolcock were residing in St Agnes when they were married in 1767. Witnesses to their marriage were Ephraim Woolcock and Phil Roberts.
