Biography
Eleanor is the daughter of John Thomas She married twice, first to Nathan Shenton, who passed in 1731. The next year she married John Marshall.
"Elinor Shenton appeared and gave satisfaction for the folly she had committed with him that now is her husband and produced a marriage certificate signed by a priest. [Margin note:] "Elinor, dau. of John Thomas, m. Nathan Shenton on 28 April 1726 by Robert Weyman of P. E. Church.". -Darby Monthly Meeting: Combined Minutes 1st da, 12th mo, 1726/7.
