Biography

Charlie T. Taylor, resident of Marlow and vicinity since early childhood, died suddenly of a heart attack at his home in Borger, Texas, last Thursday, Feb. 14. He had returned from his day's work as a welder in the Goodrich rubber plant in that city and was stricken and died immediately.

Mr. Taylor was born Oct. 22, 1905 at Wynnewood and was past 40 years old. He moved with his parents to Marlow where he was married to Miss Thelma Perkins of Marlow. Mrs. Taylor and two children survive. The children are a daughter, Mrs. Bernice Worthey of Borger, and a son, Charles, Jr. at home. The family had moved to Borger two years ago.

A brother, Will Taylor, lives at Marlow and two sisters are Mrs Ellen Callendar of Borger, and Mrs. Mae Horner of Redlands, Calif.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church at Wright's Corner, east of Marlow, Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. G.W. Woodard of Duncan. Burial was in the Owens Prairie cemetery. The Steele Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
