Captain Othniel Taylor Jr served with 10th Massachusetts Regiment (1777), Continental Army during the American Revolution.

Othniel Taylor Jr is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A112795.

Othniel was born 10 Jan 1753 Shelburne, Province of Massachusetts^[1]. He married Dorothy Wilder of Leominster, MA on 06 February 1785 in Leominster ^[2]. He was a soldier in the Massachusetts Line during the American Revolution. He passed away in 1819 in Canandaigua, Ontario NY ^[3].

Peggy (Haskell) Moss

Hi. My grandmother was Madelene Isadore Taylor. My side of the the family thinks that Othniel was a general also. I checked Fold 3 and couldn't find any support for that rak. Have you seen anything that proves he was a general?
