Biography
I have researched my family tree and found that my family are 7th generation Tarpleys from Capt John Tarpley, b. ~1625, who came over from Yorkshire, England. My father Willie Tarpley, b1897 was son of Luther C. Tarpley. Luther C. Tarpley, b1855 was son of Edward Jones Tarpley Jr.Edward Jones, b. 1816 was son of Edward Jones SR. EJ Tarpley Sr., b1779 was son of William Tarpley.William, b1753 was son of James Tarpley II. James Tarpley, b1723 was son of Thomas Tarpley.Thomas Tarpley, b1696 was son of James Tarpley I.James Tarpley was son of Capt John Tarpley Many of these Tarpleys are buried in Wilkinson county, where I was born and grew up with my family in Toomsboro.
