Biography

I am an octogenarian living in Texas and have been doing genealogy for about 30 years. All of my work has been done on Ancestry and on a local copy of Family Tree. On my paternal side, I am descended from the line of Stokelys that go back to Jehu Stokely who settled in Tennessee in the late 18th century. In my work career I was one of the first biomedical engineers and my research involved nuclear medicine and algorithm development in image understanding. I retired in 2002 and my interests have been more attune to the natural world and helping youngsters explore nature.
