Jessie Mae Shuttlesworth, daughter of Eddie Luetienant Shuttlesworth and Georgia Della (Thompson) Shuttlesworth, was born on 4 February 1908 at Vance, Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.[1]
She married Harmon Patrick Carnes, son of William Pat Carnes and Mattie Pauline (Tolbert) Carnes, in 1938.[1]
She and Harmon appeared on the census of 6 April 1950 at Vance, Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.[2]
Jessie died on 6 March 1995 at Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa County, Alabama and was buried at Evergreen Baptist Church Cemetery, Vance, Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. Her memorial has a photo and links to those of family members.[1]
