Hi - could you please cite (on the relevant profiles) the reasons for your removals of several relationships, such as https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Mowry-13 and https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Palmer-254 It would be ideal to communicate with the other profile managers as well, if you haven't already. Thank you.
You recently removed Deliverance Cleaveland (Palmer) as mother to Mary, George, Elizabeth and Abigail Cleaveland with no explaination. What sources do you have to support this. Deliverance Cleaveland (Palmer) died in 1717 and all of these children were born before this date. If you do not have sources to support this change I will add Deliverance Cleaveland (Palmer) as their mother.

You recently removed the wife of Thomas Mowry, who was shown as Elizabeth (Unknown), and replaced her with a Jane Baldwin. No sources or explanation were provided at the time. When making changes such as these, especially to pre-1700 profiles, we need to discuss and collaborate with the profile managers. Sources for pre-1700 profile changes are required, not an optional suggestion. Thank you for helping to keep the tree healthy.

Thanks so much for the prompt merge of Nannie Tefft! It's a great help in cleaning up the Tefft/Tifft profiles on here!  :-)

Richard,

I noticed that several months ago you anonymized the profiles of Palmer-254 and Mowry-13. Anonymization is only allowed for living or recently deceased people, so these people who lived in the 17th century, don't qualify. Furthermore you were not managing these profiles. I have restored the data on the profiles. If you discover that a profile you created is the duplicate of an existing profile, you should merge the profiles, not try to delete the previous profile.

Thank you.

Richard,

You removed the wives of Richard Sheldon Jr., Sheldon-211. Although I don't necessarily disagree with you, you did not collaborate with the Profile Managers. It is always best to discuss changes like this with the PMs. When you removed the wives, you did not include links to them, so it was difficult to find the wives, and the children were left with two unconnected parents. I have fixed that.

You also removed Sarah (Unknown) as Richard's mother, then created ANOTHER Sarah (Unknown) and added her as his mother, leaving a totally unconnected profile. I have proposed a merge.

Please, when you are making major changes in a profile, collaborate with the Profile Managers. Thanks, Vic

Hi Richard,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential.

Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or topic. Review the project page to learn how to collaborate with the project members.

Can't find what you're looking for? Let me know, and I can make some suggestions! :-)

Hi!

Just checking in with a few quick tips:

Free Space pages are wiki pages for supplementing your family history. They can be used to profile anything of significance such as a special pet, a meaningful event, a school you attended, a family heirloom .... They're "anything pages".

Not sure what to include in a profile? Check out our Biography Ideas and Styles and Standards help pages.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, please ask!
