Mr and Mrs Samuel Scott, Deer Park Farm, Ballyronan, Magherafelt, celebrated their Golden Wedding in 24th March 1930, Rhey were married 24th March 1880, at Cartsdyke Church, Greenock, by the Rev Peter Thompson. [1]
Samuel died in 1932.[2]
Samuel J. Scott of Deerpark Farm, Ballyronan after complications arose from a farming accident. He had been a prosperous farmer adopting modern methods. He was interred in the family burial ground at Woods Church on the 10th July. The chief mourners were
