Marguerite Pitre, daughter of Francois Pitre and Eugene Guillory,[1] was born 28 Dec. 1800.

She married Louis Fontenot, son of Philippe Jean Louis Fontenau and Marie Francoise Berzat, on 3 Nov. 1818; the marriage was recorded at recorded at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.[1]
