Jeremiah Philbrook, the son of Job Philbrook and Mary Trufant, was born on 8 Dec 1753 at Georgetown (Bath), Maine. ^[1]

In 1775, he married Sarah, the daughter of Increase Leadbetter.^[2][3] The Leadbetter Records says that they were married in 1774.^[4] Jeremiah and Sarah had at least 12 children:^[3]
