In 1751, Comfort Olds signed a receipt for his share of his father's estate.[1] In 1753, he received more of his father's estate from his brother Ezekiel.[2]
Private Comfort Olds, born Brookfield, Massachusetts 24 May 1724, died there 29 July 1779, and his wife Abigail Barns, born 1723, married May 1745, are honored for service: 1) CAPT DANIEL GILBERT, COL JOB CUSHING. Their son Samuel Olds, born December 1748, married Persis Rice, born 1755, on 11 February 1777. [3]
