Lambert Moore was born to unknown parents, likely in England, before 1633.[1] Lambert settled in Lancaster County, Virginia Colony, by 1653. The county began taxing him that year based on his labor force, assessing him for two tithables, 30 Nov 1659,[2] and again for two tithables, 15 Nov 1660.[3]
