Biography
Ida was born March 15 1859 in Londonderry, Vermont to Edmund G Miller and Amanda M Russell, Miller. After her mother passed away, her father remarried. However, by 1870, she and her half siblings were living with their paternal grandmother.
In 1882, she married Robert Roy Sutherland as estimated based upon census data. The location of the wedding is unknown. Over the years, Ida and Robert moved based on the requirements of Robert's positions with the Rail Road from Nebraska, to Kansas and finally to Shreveport, Louisiana. Both passed away in Shreveport - Robert in 1933 and Ida 1940.
Although Ida and Robert never had children of their own, they did have occasional contact with Judson Graham's family as evidenced a letter to Judson on his marriage to Ada Mae as well as a few pictures of father and son and grandparents with Judson's children.
