Their children were George Joshua McWhorter (1853–1934), John Richard McWhorter (1856–1928), Zeda (McWhorter) Conner (1858–1920), Martha Jane (McWhorter) Conner (1861–1945), Samuel F McWhorter (1862–1950), Mary Lou (McWhorter) Davis (1864–1909), Frank Wolford McWhorter (1866–1948), Foster McWhorter (1867–1932), Melissa Ellen (McWhorter) Cook (1870–1929) and Leona Ona (McWhorter) Piercey (1873–1961).
