David was born in 1978. He was the son of Brenda McWhorter Collier of McArthur and Donald King of Wellston. He passed away in 2021.

He married Andrea McWhorter. They divorced later. His children were Jacob and Nathan McWhorter and McKenzie McWhorter.
David passed away on 13 July 2021 at the Holzer Medical Center in Jackson, Jackson, Ohio followed with burial at the Little Mound Cemetery in Richmond Dale, Ross, Ohio.
