Dorothy Marshall was born about 1604. Her father had property at Blewbery, Berkshire, England,[1] so she was probably born there.
She was the daughter and coheir of Edmund Marshall of Blewbery, Berkshire, Esquier,[1] and his wife, Dorothy Goddard.
Dorothy was married to Thomas Blackwall, oldest son and heir of Wendesley Blackwall of Dethick, Derbyshire, Gent, and his wife, Martha daughter of Thomas Gardener of Adderbury, Oxfordshire, Esq.[1]
Her husband, Mr Thomas Blackwall, son and heir of Wendesley Blackwall of Dethick, Derbyshire, Gent, testified to his father's Funeral Certificate taken at Mansfield Woodhouse on 31 May, 1638, by John Newton, Gent, Deputy to the Office of Arms.[1]
