Private David Longfellow served with Lincoln County Militia, Massachusetts Militia during the American Revolution.

David Longfellow, a patriot of the American Revolution, [1] was born, reportedly at Nottingham, New Hampshire, 16 Dec 1751, the son of Jonathan Longfellow and Mercy Clark; died at Machias, Maine, after 16 Oct 1787, when he dated his will, and before 24 Nov 1787, when his will was entered into probate; [2] married at Machias, 22 Jan 1779, Olive Gooch, [3] baptized at Biddeford, Maine, 19 May 1754, the daughter of Benjamin Gooch and Deborah Murch of Machias; died 1810-1817. After David's death, Olive married (2) John Kelley as his second wife. [4] [5] [6]
