m. Elizabeth Harding 17 Sep 1778 at Wellfleet, Barnstable, Massachusetts; d. 25 Mar 1825 at Hancock, Maine, Æ 67y 5m he was buried at Riverside Cemetery, North Bucksport, Hancock, Maine.

Captain John Lewis served in the revolutionary war as master on board the Continental schooner "Warren, thirty two guns.

  • iii. Winneford Lewis; b. circa 1781 at Bucksport, Hancock, Maine; m. James Colson, son of Josiah Colson and Elizabeth (--?--), 12 Oct 1805. She was also known as Winneford.
  • iv. Priscilla Lewis; b. circa 1781 at Barnstable, Massachusetts; m. Andrew Wharfe 16 Sep 1812 at Bucksport, Hancock, Maine.
