Biography
Elzéar Leclerc died young.
Elzéar Leclerc was born on 27 May 1864 and was baptized two days later in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli parish in L'Islet, Canada East. He was the son of Lucien Napoléon Leclerc, farmer, and Marie Léocadie Chouinard of this parish. Sponsors for Elzéar's baptism were André Anctil and Marie Olympe Chouinard; neither sponsor signed the register.
Elzéar Leclerc died at age nine months on 4 Mar 1865 in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli parish in L'Islet, Canada East; he was buried two days later on 6 Mar in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli parish cemetery in L'Islet.
