Marie Anne Leclerc was born on June 24, 1834 in Sainte-Claire, Bas-Canada, daughter of Alexis Lecler (1798– ) and Marie Audette (1803– ).[1]

Marie (21) married Louis Nazaire Pepin (22) (born on June 19, 1833 in Sainte-Claire; son of Clement Pepin and Marthe Rémillard) on August 28, 1855 in Sainte-Claire, Canada-Est. [2]Their children were:
