William's marriage to Jane Jackson was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1848 in the Redruth district.^[3]

1851 Census: In the 1851 census William (age 25), Miner, was the married head of household in Penponds, Camborne, Cornwall, England.^[4]

1861 Census: In the 1861 census William (age 36), Miner, was the married head of household in Roseworthy Wood, Gwinear, Cornwall, England.^[5]

1871 Census: In the 1871 census William (age 46), Tin Miner, was the married head of household in Higher Penponds, Cornwall, England.^[6]

1881 Census: In the 1881 census William (age 53), Tin Miner, was the married head of household in Higher Pwnponds, Camborne, Cornwall, England.^[7]

Research Notes

By the 1891 Census, his wife was 62 and a widow was the head of household in Ramsgate, Camborne, Cornwall, England, living with her widowed daughter Susan Barker, who worked as a Tin Mine girl.^[8] This suggests that Willam died between 1881 and 1891.

Possible death record: for William's death (age 57) was registered in the Jan-Feb-Mar quarter of 1887 in the Redruth district.^[9]
