Biography

Goronwy's mother died when Goronwy was 7 weeks old, he was brought up by his mother's sister Matilda Jane James and her family at Blodwen's request. Occupation - English teacher Ton Yr Efail School in Pont y Pridd. Goronwy died in Narberth at the home of his cousin, Hywel James, he was 47 years of age. Goronwy's interests included Art appreciation, Antiques, Literature and Music. Cemetery -Calvaria Chapel, Login, Pembrokeshire Goronwy lived in Boncath after retiring from teaching, and worked in Tesco promoting wines. A tree was planted in Goronwy's name in the grounds of Tesco after he died. Cause of death - IntracerebralTumour with Obstructive Hydrochephalus.
