David Hasty was born ca. 1756 in Scarborough, Maine. His parents were Robert Hasty and Hannah (Jordan) Hasty[1].

He married Susanna Jordan on 18 October 1781 in Cape Elizabeth, Maine[2]. They had eight children[1]
