Stephen was born in Pennsylvania[1] about 1751.[1][2] He lived in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania[1] and was married to Elizabeth Brown.[1]
Stephen Handlin served with Pennsylvania Line during the American Revolution.
He was a patriot soldier[1][2] in the Revolutionary War: he served as a private[1][3] under Col. McCoy[1] for the Pennsylvania line.[1][2][3]
Stephen Handlin is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A050999.
He is recognised for his service by the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR), patriot no. P-174439[2] and by the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), ancestor no. A050999.[1]
