Catherine married John McNeil 1847 in Glengarry, Ontario, Canada. They had eight children and raised them in Glengarry. Catherine McNeil died April 23, 1908 in Lancaster, Glengarry, Ontario. She'd been Widowed since 1881. She and John are buried at St. Raphaels Cemetery in Stormont, Dundas, Glengarry, Ontario.
