Loyd was born in 1901. He was the son of WIlliam Grant. He passed away in 1977.

DNA

Paternal relationship to Evan Grant and Mary McCashland is confirmed by comparison between third cousins, Hazel Grant (GEDmatch Genesis CB2435625) and Larry Stephenson (GEDmatch A957620.) Hazel descends from Benjamin Grant and Larry descends from his sister Elizabeth Grant. The third cousins share 101 cM of DNA on chromosomes 4, 7, 11, and 13. Larry's brother Charles Stephenson (GEDmatch A449654) shares significant segments with Hazel on chromosomes 7, 11 and 14. Larry's sister Virginia Stephenson (A609811) also shares 49.1 cM of DNA with third cousin Hazel Grant. These statistically significant segments are found on chromosomes 4, 7 and 11, and confirm a third cousin level relationship between the testers. Charles's daughter Jane (A594406) shares 19.3 cM with Hazel and Larry's daughter Beth (A551014) shares 63.1 cM with Hazel.
